Haise’s hair is white, with black roots - the black roots seem to grow or shrink based on who in Haise’s system has most recently been fronting.
Personality: Haise is a multiple system of three members; each one differs in personality.
Haise is the core fronter. Haise is very friendly and polite, and cares fiercely for anyone that ends up in his care. He can sometimes come off as timid, and be taken advantage of fairly easily. He is in love with the idea of being a teacher or a mentor, and assumes that role with ease.
Ken does not front, and is not likely to be interacted with outside of a mind-reading situation. Ken is a child, but is not childlike in interests. It is introverted, and very quiet, and frequently expresses interest in morbid things.
Centipede is violent, and hungry. Centipede will front in instances where Haise’s hunger goes out of control; it has no regard for humanity nor of its own self preservation. It postures more like an animal than a human, and it is always babbling.
Powers/abilities/skills: Haise is an Artificial One-Eyed Ghoul - after suffering an accident in his youth that should have been fatal, his body was used as a prototype experiment for a project to create half-ghoul, half human hybrids. He is, for almost all intents and purposes, a ghoul.
Ghouls are human-passing creatures that are best defined by an exclusive diet of the flesh of human and humanoid beings. Haise is specifically classified as a rinkaku ghoul - ghouls are put into four categories based on the location of an organ unique to them, called the kakuhou - Haise’s being in the small of his back. From his kakuhou, Haise can summon a kagune - for him, a set of massive, prehensile tentacles able to be honed into blades or claws.
Rinkaku ghouls are also known for their regenerative skills, but Haise’s regeneration is at a freakish level above that - he is likely functionally immortal, having been shown to fully recover from being repeatedly impaled through the brain, as well as a plethora of other injuries.
Ghouls are also defined by their kakugan - when hungry or otherwise emotional, a ghoul’s eyes will turn red with black schlera. Haise is known as a One-Eyed Ghoul because he only has one kakugan.
Ghouls cannot digest anything but the flesh of humanoid creatures - almost any other food will taste like ash in their mouth, and make them violently ill. The lone exception appears to be coffee.
Haise has spent several years as a ghoul investigator, and has experience in detective work and in reading others. He is skilled at wielding a quinque (don’t worry about it) that closely resembles a sword, and his skill in such extends to more conventional swords.

It's important to mention that Haise has severe memory loss due to head trauma and his recollection of his own history is very spotty at best.
Headcanons: “Sasaki Haise” is a given name and not Haise’s legal name. His legal name (Kaneki Ken) is likely not ever to be learned or relevant to anyone in roleplay, and is buried under mountains of red tape.
At age 20, Haise suffered a traumatic head injury that caused serious memory loss and would have outright killed him were it not for his healing factor. He has very scattered recollection of everything before and almost a year after this incident, with much of what he knows about his past being things told to him rather than what he actually remembers.
Haise has some low-key psychosis, mostly taking form of intense paranoia and (less intense) auditory hallucinations. The brunt of his psychosis taken by Haise’s alters.
Haise is a multiple system, currently consisting of three members - himself, and Kaneki, who is further faceted into a child (who goes by Ken) and the extremely violent and nonverbal Centipede.
Centipede is, for the most part, kept well in check by Haise and does not have the capacity to antagonize others; this is less true the hungrier Haise gets. Centipede frequently forces itself to cofront when Haise has his kagune out, and utterly takes control in the rare instance Haise releases his kakuja. Centipede and Ken both use it/its pronouns.
Haise only needs to eat once a month, but will consume his entire weight in flesh.
Haise is camab intersex. He distantly remembers a time where he used it/its pronouns and is now made extremely uncomfortable by the idea.
Haise is vision impaired and wears glasses; he wore contacts previous to his first run-in with death, and his vision worsened noticeably after his eyes grew back after the second run-in. His kakugan activating with contacts in causes extreme pain and irritation, so he can no longer wear contacts.
He loves puns and cares a lot for those in his care. He takes his coffee black.

He tends to be drawn to troubled people and finds comfort in helping them, partly because of his own broken self image making him dislike having to focus on himself.
Powers/abilities/skills: Empathic to a degree of being psychic, feeling the emotions of others as if they were almost his own. Close combat, reading body language and expressions, skillful with firearms and knives.
History: Maurice was a child from a happy home with one softer loving mother and one rather strict but still meaning well father. Most of his youth he was trained under his father for military service until he wound up joining at the age of 17 with the signed approval of his parents. At the age of 20 he underwent an experimental procedure to strengthen him, via implants inlaid along the spine. For his tour, it was well and good, doing somewhat what it was supposed to have, though since his sudden departure--winding up in a different world, as well as a lack of maintenance during the time he was active--they have since degraded, causing him a number of potential problems and bouts of severe pain on occasion that leave him bedridden for hours or days. Aside from this, he maintains a relatively stable life--for someone thrown into places that are not his own.

Emotional Stability: Maurice's mental state is rather 'stable' under most circumstances. It takes a lot for him to snap or become angry, though he does have a lot of issue with downing himself and struggling with his own lack of self-confidence. These tend to only occur when he is alone and has nothing else to focus on. Among friends, family, and surprisingly, combat situations, he is most stable as these are the times where his focus is elsewhere but his relatively fractured self image and trouble psyche. He does suffer from PTSD and Depression in some fashions, though and this can affect him in day to day life, although he has gotten rather good at masking it.

“My kindness in and of itself is not without consequence. It has cost me and it will continue to cost me.” It was with resignation that these words fell from the man’s lips and a hand rose to push back soaked raven strands from his eyes. Vlad was an outwardly honest individual, Maurice could feel the truth behind those words and the strange sense of perplexity that he seemed to feel with the way the soldier treated him. A smile was earned with those words.
“I am grateful for my parents rearing me the way they did. Emotions are a curse and a blessing. It grants us the capacity to get close and to share more with others than we would ever be able to otherwise…but it gives us a weakness, places where we can be hurt and hurt others, intentionally or otherwise. Yet without them, we are little more than empty shells, unable to connect with the world and the people around us.” It was spoken as if from personal experience, though the soldier had never truly been numb. He remembered what it was like to act without emotion, to be focused on one single purpose without any distraction one way or the other.
However, that was different than the utter emptiness he had witnessed behind the eyes of other soldiers, the looks that let you know there wasn’t much human to talk to. A few blinks brought Maurice back to focus on the present and he let out a calming breath through his nose. “Second chances are a gift we all need at some time or another. A second chance can make the biggest difference in someone’s life.” Argent irises cast themselves to the man at his side, so slender and frail looking.
“We are often harder on ourselves than others are on us. We judge ourselves more harshly, put more expectations and punishments. We often do not deserve the punishments we believe we do, but it is hard to convince the mind and the heart when guilt slinks its way into the gaps in your head, filling you with doubt and uncertainty and self loathing over mistakes that you may not have had control over at the time.”

Personality: He's just really bored. Overall not anyone special in terms of disposition, he's a good person where it counts but isn't the type to self-sacrifice. He has displayed humility and kindness letting others take credit for his actions if it helps them to be positive forces within the world, but at times comes off as disappointed that he doesn't have a high social approval rating despite his numerous heroic acts. While being able to read into people well enough, he often is very honest and upfront about his own feelings on the subject which makes it seem like he lacks tact or does not care (and sometimes he doesn't). He's late to everything, except sales. He can say some pretty inspiring things on accident, it seems. He likes videogames, seaweed, cabbage, and watching tv.
Powers/abilities/skills: Inhuman strength, inhuman speed, baldness. HC that the source of these powers is the breaking of his internal limiter, which causes occasional nerve misfiring. He won't notice strain and injury as easily as others would, which does have its own rammifications. At the same time, it is increasingly hard to hurt him as his body adapts.
History: Instead of getting a job he decided to be a hero for fun. For three years he trained, and next thing you know he was both incredibly strong and incredibly bald. He only recently became a registered hero, and obtains a small income from that. He was squatting in an abandoned apartment complex with Genos aka “Demon Cyborg”. His life recently became very interesting, but that's probably on hold now.
Headcanons: He's dfab trans, and during his training he lost his nipples as the scarring from top surgery was still fairly fresh and he didn't think to tape them down. He's most likely not allistic and probably has persistent depression but has never received a formal diagnosis and honestly isn't too interested in getting one. His depression started picking up in his early 20s, aggravated by his repeated failure to get a job despite trying his best. Being without income, he did not have access to the proper amount and types of food needed to sufficiently support a highly athletic lifestyle. There seems to be no overt ramifications from this aside from him being lighter than anticipated for someone with such musculature. Over the course of his years squatting, he has learned how to get the essentials such as cable and internet without necessarily paying for them, as well as doing some basic home repairs. There is electricity and running water in his apartment despite it being in a totally abandoned area. He tries not to think about that too much and is mostly just grateful he can wash his ass.
His massive strength can prove to be a problem at times, especially when he is not fully awake. His alarm-clock has to be regularly replaced and holes in the floor/walls patched. He's started to place his clock on the other side of the room, but it only helps a bit. At times he is very conscious of the fact that having people around him long term that aren't as strong as him could be a problem as they could easily get accidentally hurt. He would be on the ace spectrum if he decided to think about it, but he hasn't.
