Any amount of characters is acceptable. Every single character must meet the activity requirements, however, and idling out on characters can give you a strike, so please only app an amount of characters you know you can be active on. You can app to up to two characters from the same canon, however please do not app characters that interact with each other frequently, to discourage playercesting.

Duplicates of characters are acceptable. So long as they are from different points in canon or from different depictions of canon. (EX: Tony Stark from pre-MCU, post-Age of Ultron, and Marvel Comics are all allowed, but two AoU-Tony Starks would be disallowed.)

OCs are allowed! Canon OCs are allowed!

ASK US about AUs. We will not allow “genderbend” AUs. Trans characters are a-okay! CRAUs are allowed!

This is the biggest part of the application - just a few paragraphs to demonstrate that you’ve thought about your character and how you want to play them. Solomon's Burden Specifics What was your character doing before entry?: What were they doing in their setting before they entered on Solomon’s Island? What does your character have on hand upon entering?: What does your character have on their person when they arrive? In the average character’s point of departure, they will be on an average, short term outing when they mistakenly wind up on the island. Keep this in mind! Which entrance would you like to come through?: Characters enter Solomon Island through three passageways, located in quadrants A1, C3, and B4. Each entrance has its advantages and disadvantages; please take a look at the map and our setting page to figure those out for yourself. If you don’t have a preference, we will assign you something based on what we think will be most interesting for your character and the choices of other applicants. Within which timeframe would you like your character to show up?: Timeframes include: Midnight-8AM, 9AM-4PM, 5PM-Midnight. This both determines when your character arrives, and what OOC day you are introduced, because of how both our game’s timescale works and how we stagger new characters. Sample Writing We’re really flexible on how you submit a sample! Link us to about literally anything you’ve done involving roleplaying either this character or any character in an organized group setting. Linking threads from our test drive meme is a huge bonus! We’re a log-style RP, so we’re looking for samples in that vein - the third person prose sort of deal.
